Research activities

With the aim of solving global environmental problems and energy problems we are doing research mainly from the standpoints of applied chemistry and chemical engineering. Specifically we focus on the development of energy carrier technology for using new energies mainly renewable energy and the development of chemical heat storage materials for effective use of unused heat energy such as industrial waste heat. In addition aiming to solve various problems related to nuclear energy that emerged after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident in 2011 we develop new materials to improve the safety of nuclear power plants and carry out research on contaminated water issues and decommissioning-related technologies.
